George Jones III

George Jones III is an experienced IT and service management leader currently serving as the Director of IT Service Management at NRECA since May 2024. Prior to this role, George held various positions at PepsiCo from February 2021 to May 2023, including IT Strategy and Transformation Training Coordinator and Global Process Owner for incident management. George also directed the Service Management Office at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK from April 2013 to March 2020, where responsibilities included establishing ITSM practices and leading diversity initiatives. Earlier in career at Capital One, George was the Release Manager for the US Card Service. George earned a Bachelor of Science dual degree in Smart Product Design, focusing on Electrical Engineering and Product Design, from Stanford University.
