Marina Pappas-Barbosa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at NRG Energy since January 2016. Pappas-Barbosa built the business development department from the ground up and leads initiatives aligned with executive leadership on consumer business strategies. Previously, Pappas-Barbosa held various roles in business development at IKEA Group and Shamin Hotels, demonstrating success in managing teams, increasing revenues, and forming corporate partnerships. Earlier experience includes project management for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and a strong foundation in sales at Celebrity Cruises. Pappas-Barbosa's educational background includes an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Florida International University.
