Luis Eduardo Depavia

Luis Eduardo DePavia is an experienced engineering professional specializing in the development of advanced nuclear technologies and electronics. Currently serving as Innovation Manager at NuScale Power since October 2022, DePavia oversees projects related to modular nuclear reactors aimed at providing clean energy solutions. Former roles include R&D Engineer 4 at NuScale Power, Engineering Manager for Electronics at Martin Company, and Engineering Program Manager at Schlumberger, where leadership in product development for new-generation platforms was key. DePavia’s expertise also encompasses the commercialization of seismic monitoring systems for critical infrastructure as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Terra Technology Corp. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Additionally, advanced studies were pursued at Caltech.
