Josh is Chief Human Resources Officer at Nuveen. He is responsible for Nuveen’s human resources strategy and execution for the organization’s global workforce including, compensation and benefits, organizational design and effectiveness, and inclusion and diversity. In addition, he leads Enterprise Total Rewards for Nuveen’s parent company, TIAA.
Josh has more than 20 years of human resources experience and joined TIAA in 2012. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Human Resources. During his tenure with TIAA, Josh also served as Chief Talent Officer, and Chief Human Resources Officer for the Enterprise Risk Management and Advocacy & Oversight corporate areas. Prior to TIAA, Josh worked at Chubb Limited where he served as Global Head of Compensation and Benefits. Josh also held several leadership positions at Merrill Lynch including Head of Human Resources for Global Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities. He also served as Head of Global Human Resources Infrastructure, where he managed compensation and all HR services for Merrill Lynch and its 61,000 employees.
Josh graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Monmouth University.
