Kip Jackson

Kip Jackson, MS, PE, PMP, serves as the Director of Engineering & Project Management at NV Energy since February 1997, overseeing multiple departments focused on the development and execution of the T&D capital program across northern and southern Nevada. Previously held roles at NV Energy include Major Projects Director and Manager of Power System Engineering, leading teams responsible for significant projects and the design of transmission facilities. Before NV Energy, Kip Jackson worked for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power in various capacities, including Asset Manager for the Generation Business Unit and Assistant Construction Manager for the Mead-Adelanto 500kV Project. Early career experience includes a role as an Electrical/Mechanical Field Engineer at Bechtel Power Corporation. Kip Jackson holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
