Satyavolu Papa Rao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and academia, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University at Albany, SUNY since March 2023 and Vice President for Research at NY CREATES since September 2019. With a distinguished background that includes previous roles as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, Associate VP for Research at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and Chief Technology Officer at SUNY Poly SEMATECH, Satyavolu has made significant contributions to the fields of photovoltaics, advanced CMOS technology, and RF/Analog device development during tenures at leading organizations such as IBM and Texas Instruments.
