Sunni Herman

Sunni Herman is an accomplished healthcare administrator with extensive experience in skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation services. Currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director at NYC Health + Hospitals since September 2024, Sunni previously held the role of Administrator at CareRite Centers, overseeing a 160-bed nursing home and rehabilitation center. From October 2010 to June 2023, Sunni was the Executive Vice President and Administrator at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, managing a $35 million organization that provided services to nearly 1,000 individuals annually, achieving a consistent 95% occupancy rate. Prior roles include Community Services Administrator at Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Assistant Administrator at St Johnland Nursing Center, Joint Commission Coordinator at The New Jewish Home, Quality Assurance Consultant at MERCY HOME CARE LLC, and Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at Maimonides Medical Center.
