Adnan Jakati is currently a Graduate Assistant at New York University’s Centre for Cybersecurity and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the course "Object-Oriented Programming" at The Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, NYU. Prior experience includes serving as a Security Engineer at Sony India Software Centre, where Adnan implemented research and development efforts to address cybersecurity threats and received recognition as the First Challenge Runner-Up for innovation in threat detection systems. Previously, as a Software Engineer Intern at Alorb Technologies Private Limited, Adnan significantly improved application performance and scalability through cloud deployment, and during a Research Internship at Samsung R&D Institute India, Adnan developed a facial emotion classification system that earned a certificate of excellence. Adnan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from KLE Technological University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at New York University.
