Patrick Tapper

Patrick Tapper is a Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial at New Zealand Rugby, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Patrick served as Senior Legal Counsel for the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™ from February 2022 to June 2023. Patrick also worked at IMG as Legal Counsel and Associate Counsel from July 2019 to January 2022, and held the position of Legal & Business Affairs Executive at FremantleMedia UK from July 2017 to June 2019. Earlier experience includes solicitors roles at Elysium Healthcare and Partnerships in Care, as well as at Simpson Grierson. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from the University of Otago, and Cambridge International Examinations A-Level from Auckland Grammar School.
