Dr. Florian von Alten has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Florian started their career at Siemens Components Pte. Ltd. in Singapore as an Assistant of Director of Finance and Administration from August 1992 to December 1993. Dr. Florian then joined Oaklins in Germany in 1994, where they held the position of Managing Partner. In this role, they provided advisory services to entrepreneurs, decision-makers in large conglomerates, and private equity firms in buying and selling companies or divisions. Dr. Florian also served as the Chairman of Oaklins International, Inc. until the end of 2019. Additionally, at Oaklins, they served as the Head of Industrial Machinery & Components since August 1994.
Dr. Florian von Alten began their education at Secondary School in Munich, where they obtained their Abitur degree in 1985. Following this, they attended Kurt Huber Gymnasium in Munich and also earned another Abitur degree in 1985. Dr. Florian furthered their education by enrolling at the University of Goettingen in Germany from 1987 to 1989, where they completed the Vordiplom in business administration. Afterwards, they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of Fribourg (CH) from 1989 to 1992, obtaining a Licentiate degree. Lastly, they undertook doctoral studies in Political Economy at the University of Fribourg, earning their Doctor of Economics degree in 1994.
