Bret Waterstradt

Bret Waterstradt currently serves as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Observable Space since September 2024. Previously, Bret held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at PlaneWave Instruments from June 2018 to February 2025, as well as roles including Production Manager. Bret also has extensive experience in the fire service, having spent over three decades at Dundee Township Fire Department, culminating as Assistant Fire Chief until February 2022. In the manufacturing sector, Bret held positions such as Plant General Manager and Engineering Manager at Texen Dundee, and Plant Manager and Engineering Manager roles at both Topline Michigan, LLC and Motor City Plastics Co. Inc. A solid foundation in engineering was established as an Automation Engineer at Motor City Plastics Co. from June 1999 to May 2008. Bret's educational background includes studies at Monroe County Community College and Washtenaw Community College.
