Dr. Joerg Jorzick

Dr. Joerg Jorzick is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical business development within the automotive sector, currently serving as Senior Technical Business Development Manager at Oerlikon Balzers since July 2005. Throughout this tenure, Dr. Jorzick has held several key roles including Head of Technical Business Development Automotive PVD, Global Head of Sales Automotive PVD, and Global Account Manager - automotive, focusing on coating solutions for diesel and gasoline injection systems as well as brake systems. Prior to Oerlikon Balzers, Dr. Jorzick was the Head of Development Laboratory at IFOS GmbH, where responsibilities included developing new devices for surface and thin film analysis. Education includes a PhD in Physics from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, along with an MBA and other qualifications in Business Administration from Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie Trier.
