Mr Bahren Shaari was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Singapore in February 2015.
Prior to this appointment, he was the Senior Managing Director and Global Market Head of South East Asia. He has more than 30 years of banking experience. Bahren has been a non-executive and independent director of Singapore Press Holdings since April 2012. He is a member of the Council of Presidential Advisers. Bahren was conferred the Public Service Star Medal in 2018 and the Public Service Medal in 2008. Bahren is an IBF Distinguished Fellow and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the National University of Singapore.
