Susanne Svizeny

Susanne Svizeny serves as the EVP and Regional President of Greater Philadelphia at OceanFirst Bank, leading the bank's expansion in the Metropolitan Philadelphia area with a focus on commercial relationships, treasury management, retail banking, and trust and asset management services since May 2019. Prior to OceanFirst, Susanne worked at Wells Fargo from February 2009 to May 2019 as the EVP-Commercial Banking Division Manager for the Eastern Division, overseeing the commercial banking business in several states and leading integration strategies during a merger. Susanne's extensive experience also includes a decade at Wachovia Corp, where significant roles included Regional President for Greater Philadelphia and EVP for Southern New Jersey, notably maintaining stability during the 2008 financial crisis and driving significant deposit growth. Earlier, Susanne held the position of EVP in Credit Underwriting at First Union National Bank, facilitating a transition to a new business model. Susanne holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from The College of New Jersey and completed the Wachovia Executive Leadership Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
