Mark Dion

Mark Dion is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and proposal management, currently serving as a Proposal Manager at OPT since November 2022. Prior to this role, Mark worked at HII Technical Solutions as the Manager of Bids & Proposals from April 2020 to October 2022, and at Hydroid, Inc. in similar positions from November 2015 to April 2020. Mark's engineering expertise includes significant tenure at Raytheon from September 2005 to November 2015, where responsibilities included advanced mechanical engineering roles on various naval systems projects. Mark began the professional career as a Mechanical Engineer at Electric Boat, focusing on operational assessments for naval nuclear submarines from August 2003 to September 2005. Mark holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, earned between 1999 and 2003, and completed high school education at Plymouth North High School from 1996 to 1999.
