Runi Joensen

Runi Joensen serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Ocean Rainforest since April 2023, providing technical leadership across all company operations, including Ocean Cultivating Units, harvesting, and processing. Prior to this role, Runi held various positions at NOV, including Aftermarket Spares and Business Systems Director for WLF, where a focus was placed on enhancing global spare parts provision and improving customer service. Other notable roles at NOV include Sales Director for Wireline and Flowline, and General Manager for NOV Elmar in the Middle East, overseeing both regional performance and product line sales. Runi's engineering background began as a Project Engineer and later progressed through senior design and development roles, culminating in leadership within Research and Development for pressure control equipment. Runi holds an MBA from Robert Gordon University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aberdeen.
