David Laporte

David Laporte is an experienced project and operations manager with a strong background in ROV operations and project management within the subsea industry. Currently serving as the Project Director for the KGD6 Project in India at Oceaneering International GmbH since September 2015, David oversees vessel operations and project management. Prior to this role, David held various senior positions at Oceaneering, including Senior Program Manager for OPG and Senior Operations Manager in Brazil and Singapore, managing foreign vessel fleets and ROV operations. David's career started at Subsea 7, where David managed US ROV operations from 1992 to 2001. David holds degrees in Commercial and Industrial Electronics from Fanshawe College and Underwater Skills from Seneca Polytechnic.
