Myeshia Whigham

Myeshia Whigham currently serves as the Coordinator of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and previously held the role of Student and Family Services Coordinator at Oceanside Unified School District since July 2020. Myeshia has extensive experience in education, including positions as Teacher and Vice Principal at San Diego Unified School District from September 2010 to July 2020. Myeshia has participated in various leadership development programs, such as the Rise Urban Principal Preparation Fellowship and the School Retool Fellowship at the University of San Diego. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy in Education for Social Justice from the University of San Diego and an Administrative Credential from San Diego State University. Myeshia’s work emphasizes instructional leadership, professional development, and equitable learning environments.
