Lorne Segall

Lorne Segall is a seasoned talent acquisition professional currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Octagon since July 2021, where responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruitment for various business units and driving diversity initiatives. Prior to Octagon, Lorne worked as a Career Coach at Flatiron School, assisting recent graduates in job search strategies, and held the role of Account Manager at 160over90, overseeing client services until the position was affected by COVID-19. Lorne's extensive experience also includes significant contributions as Program Director and Head of Recruitment at Manhattan Sports Business Academy, where a strategic brand relaunch increased program applicants by 400%, and early career roles in marketing and events with companies such as SDI Marketing and Lagardère Unlimited. Lorne holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Marketing from Concordia University and has pursued additional education in talent acquisition and people analytics at AIHR.
