David Reynolds

David Reynolds has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. David currently holds the position of Head of Cyber Security at Octopus Investments, a role they started in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Octopus as a Security Operations Manager from April 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Octopus, David had various roles at Barclays starting from June 2014. Their positions at Barclays included Head of Information and Cyber Security Operations Enhancements and Transition from March 2019 to March 2020, Head of Security Technology Services from January 2017 to March 2019, and Head of Cryptography and Authentication Services from June 2014 to January 2017.

David also worked at Royal Bank of Scotland where they served as an Information Security Service Manager from December 2011 to June 2014, Mainframe Security Team Leader from July 2010 to December 2011, and Information Security Analyst and team leader from September 2004 to July 2010.

Prior to their time at Royal Bank of Scotland, David worked at Deutsche Bank as an IT Security Administration Team Leader from June 2000 to August 2003. David started their career at NatWest as an IT Security Analyst from October 1995 to June 2000.

David Reynolds attended CISM but did not obtain a degree or study a specific field of study.
