Jo Tyndall currently serves as the Director of the Environment Directorate at the OECD since September 2022. With extensive experience at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade since July 2009, Tyndall holds the titles of High Commissioner and Climate Change Ambassador, leading New Zealand's delegation to UNFCCC negotiations and co-chairing the Ad-hoc Working Group on the Paris Agreement from 2016 to 2018. Tyndall has earned two Master of Arts degrees with first-class honours in French and English from the University of Canterbury.
