Emma Dean

Emma Dean is an experienced professional in project and delivery management within the transportation sector, currently serving as Principal Sponsor at the Department for Transport in the United Kingdom since August 2023. Prior to this role, Emma was a Delivery Manager at the Office of Rail and Road, where responsibilities included regulating Network Rail's programmes and projects in the Eastern region. Emma also contributed significantly to Transport for the North as a Project Manager for the £39bn Northern Powerhouse Rail programme, overseeing various suppliers and key project activities.
