Al Hernandez, SMS, STS, currently serves as the Director of Corporate Safety at both Centurion Group and Oil Patch Group since September 2015. In these roles, Al focuses on coaching, training, educating, and motivating employees within the organizations. Prior to these positions, Al was the HSE - DOT Corporate Manager, Trainer, and Coach for Oil Patch Group, overseeing U.S. Operations. Al's early career included serving as an elected City Commissioner for District II in Hobbs, New Mexico, becoming the youngest commissioner in the city's history upon election in 2006. Al's educational background includes studies at Texas Tech University, New Mexico Junior College, and Hobbs High School.
