Dr. Lauren Robins

Dr. Lauren Robins serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Online Counseling Program Coordinator at Old Dominion University since August 2021. In addition, Dr. Robins is a Visiting Assistant Professor and actively contributes as a reviewer for several academic journals, including the Journal of Counselor Preparation & Supervision, the Journal of Human Services, and the Journal of Mental Health Counseling, all since June 2020. Dr. Robins has a history of engagement in academia as an Adjunct Professor at Regent University and Virginia Commonwealth University, along with roles as a Teaching Assistant and Doctoral Researcher. Notably, Dr. Robins has served as Graduate Student Liaison for the Virginia Association for Counselor Education and Supervision and as a contracted researcher for Corwin Press. Dr. Robins’ educational background includes a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University, an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the same institution, and a BS in Psychology from Old Dominion University.
