Thabile Nyaba serves as the Chief Risk & Sustainability Officer at Old Mutual Insure since January 2018, with notable roles including Chief Risk Officer and Chairperson of both the Transformation and Responsible Business committee and the Women's Forum. Thabile has contributed to the implementation of significant initiatives such as SheThrives and Self Defence Training. In addition, Thabile holds trustee positions across several trusts associated with Old Mutual and has been a director at IFRIMA since December 2022 and Chairperson of the Board at Elite Risk Acceptances since March 2020. Thabile’s leadership extends to the Lukazi Farming Projects Co-operative and WDB Investment Holdings as well as founding the Izinsika Zesizwe Foundation. Prior leadership includes serving as President of the Institute of Risk Management South Africa until August 2023 and General Manager of Risk at the Road Accident Fund. Thabile's educational background includes a Management Development Program from GIBS and degrees in Accounting from Natal Technikon.
