Laurel McDonough

Laurel McDonough is a seasoned professional in the power generation field with extensive experience at Omaha Public Power District since January 2010, progressing through roles such as Lead Power Generation Engineer, Power Generation Engineer, Control Room Operator, Unit Supervisor, and Shift Technical Advisor. Prior experience includes an engineering internship at the same organization from May 2007 to August 2009. Laurel holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, obtained between 2005 and 2009, and furthered education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2019 to 2021. Early education includes a high school diploma from Millard West High School and attendance at Ursuline Academy.
