Lemuel Rivera Fuentes

Lemuel Rivera Fuentes, MD, currently serves as the Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development at Omeros Corporation since December 2024. Prior experience includes a similar role at Applied Therapeutics, Inc. from November 2022 to January 2025, along with positions as Clinical Research Lead and Supervisor of Clinical Research at Fresenius Medical Care from March 2021 to November 2022. Previously, Lemuel held the role of Clinical Research Scientist at Renal Research Institute from February 2018 to March 2021 and completed a Transplant Nephrology Fellowship at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán from March 2014 to February 2018. An Internal Medicine residency was completed at Centro Médico ABC from March 2010 to February 2014. Lemuel earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad La Salle, A.C. between 2003 and 2010.
