George McDonald is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and lean manufacturing. Currently serving as the Transformation Manager at MSC Industrial Supply Co. since July 2024, George focuses on implementing lean principles to optimize business processes and drive cultural change. Prior to this role, George held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Operational Excellence at OmniMax and National Director of National QMS-CI at Quest Diagnostics, where efforts centered on enhancing efficiency and health outcomes. With a strong foundation in lean methodologies developed through multiple roles, including Director of Lean Manufacturing at Proterra Inc. and Partner/Principal Consultant at Lean Manufacturing Solutions NC, George has consistently driven continuous improvements across different industries.
