Maximilian Grasserbauer

Maximilian Grasserbauer is an experienced professional with a long tenure at OMV since December 1996, currently serving as Senior Vice President Circular Economy, focusing on developing a Circular Economy for Plastics through Chemical Recycling. Throughout the career at OMV, Maximilian has held various leadership roles, including Acting Senior Vice President Circular Economy and Vice President Plastics-to-Plastics, as well as heading product sales and supply in the Middle East and Asia. In addition, Maximilian serves as a Non-Executive Director at PARCO (Pak Arab Refinery LTD) in Pakistan. Early career experiences include positions in sales for motor fuels and petrochemicals, as well as roles in corporate development and shift supervision at the Schwechat Refinery. Academically, Maximilian holds a degree in Maschinenbau from Technische Universität Wien and an MBA from The Open University, complemented by studies at the University of Birmingham.
