Kristin Hammer

Kristin Hammer is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in medicinal chemistry and organic synthesis. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Oncopeptides AB since September 2020, Kristin previously held roles including Medicinal Chemist at Kancera AB and BioChromix AB, and Research Manager focused on misfolded protein compounds. Kristin's career also includes positions as Senior Research Scientist at Medivir AB, and work on various projects at Biovitrum AB. Early career experience features postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford University and the University of Oslo, as well as a research fellowship at Nycomed Bioreg AS, where Kristin contributed to anti-HIV research. Kristin holds a Post Doc in Chemistry from Stanford University and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oslo, complemented by a B.Sc in Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
