One Million Degrees
Kristin Hoffhines, Ed.D. has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as a Senior Advisor for One Million Degrees since September 2021, focusing on Colorado expansion efforts. In addition, Kristin is the Managing Director of the Diversity Awareness Group and previously held the position of Associate Dean of Student Development at Harper College until June 2022. In this role, Kristin led initiatives aimed at enhancing student success and retention, particularly for underrepresented and at-risk students. Formerly, as the Director of One Million Degrees at Harper College, Kristin coordinated multiple program components to support low-income community college students, including tutoring and professional development opportunities. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership from Ferris State University and a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Northern Illinois University.
