Paavo Räisänen

Paavo Räisänen is a seasoned investor and partner at Maki.vc, a venture capital firm focused on Nordic pre-seed and seed-stage entrepreneurs since January 2018. Simultaneously, Paavo serves as Investment Director and Chairperson at Strise, a company combating financial crime with AI-driven solutions. Additional board memberships include strategic roles at Onego Bio, Databutton, Volare Solutions, Zevoy, EverDye, OGOship, and QDI Systems. Paavo holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Technology from Aalto University, alongside training as an Infantry Officer in Reserve from the Reserve Officer School.
