Lear Brace, Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in the research and development field. In 2004, they began their career as a Research Student at New England Biolabs. Five years later, they moved to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a Senior Research Technician. From 2011 to 2016, they attended Harvard University as a Ph.D. Student. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow- Kennedy Lab at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. In 2018, they took on the roles of Director, Research & Development, Director of Product Development, and Senior Scientist at OneSkin. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Part-time Adjunct Chemistry Professor at Peralta Community College District.

Lear Brace, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Neuroscience) and Chemistry (Biochemistry) from Emmanuel College (Boston) between 2005 and 2009. Lear then went on to earn a PhD in Genetics and Complex Diseases from Harvard University between 2011 and 2016.
