Joao Budzinski

Joao Budzinski is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and digital engineering, currently serving as the Director of Software and Digital Engineering at ONWARD Medical since April 2025. Prior to this role, Joao held the position of R&D Director at Debiotech SA from March 2015 to April 2025, where leadership was provided to the R&D team focused on developing innovative medical device hardware and software. Joao's earlier career at SICPA included roles as Principal Electronic Engineer and Engineering Manager, leading technical projects and the development of electronic systems. Additional experience includes positions at BERATA GmbH as a Consultant and at Siemens Enterprise Communications as a Software Developer. Joao holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná and an Electronics Technician diploma from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Paraná.
