Kevin Hasley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kevin is currently serving as the Co-Chair for the Broadband Advocacy Group at the Worldwide Broadband Association, where they are involved in advancing the conversation on connectivity. Prior to this, Kevin was the Vice President at Ookla and played a key role in the company.
Before joining Ookla, Kevin held multiple roles at RootMetrics, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and Senior Director of Product Development. RootMetrics provides objective metrics on carrier network performance.
Kevin also served as the Vice President of Product Management at IHS Markit, a leading source of information and insight in various global industries.
Earlier in their career, Kevin worked at Bsquare as a Senior Product Manager and Product Manager. Kevin was responsible for developing business plans and marketing strategies for assigned product lines.
Kevin's early work experience includes roles at Texas Instruments and Raytheon. At Texas Instruments, they worked as a Technical Marketing Manager, Senior Applications Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. At Raytheon, they worked as a Software/Test Engineer.
Kevin Hasley completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to that, they also earned an Engineer degree with a specialization in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus between 1992 and 1994.
