Bertrand Thisselin has extensive work experience in the field of purchasing and supply chain management. Bertrand began their career in 2000 at Plastic Omnium as a Development Engineer, before transitioning to the role of Commodity Buyer from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Group Commodity Buyer at Faurecia. Thisselin then returned to Plastic Omnium in 2008 as a Lead Buyer and later took on roles as Program Purchasing Manager Asia, Commodity Manager Asia, and Purchasing Director - Indirect & CAPEX. In 2019, they became the Purchasing & Supply Chain Director for Europe, and in July 2021, they assumed the role of Purchasing & Supply Chain Director for New Energies at Plastic Omnium.
Bertrand Thisselin attended INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a focus on the transformation of thermoplastics. Later, in 2008-2009, they earned an Executive Master's degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain from HEC Paris.
