Matt Keshian

Mr. Keshian is a Principal at OpenGate Capital in Los Angeles and is responsible for due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio management of the firm’s North American investments.

Prior to joining OpenGate, Mr. Keshian was a Principal with H.I.G. Capital. During his time at H.I.G. Capital, he led all aspects of the investment process including origination, diligence, transaction structuring, and value creation planning for platform and add-on investment opportunities. Mr. Keshian’s broad experience includes transactions in aerospace & defense, government services, industrial technology, specialty chemicals, manufacturing, and business services.

Mr. Keshian earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University where he was a Benjamin N. Duke Scholar.
