Torsten Lodderstedt is an accomplished IT architect and expert in digital identity, open standards, security, and software architecture, currently serving as Lead Architect for the German EUDI Wallet project at SPRIND. Lodderstedt is also a Technical Advisor for the OpenWallet Foundation and Founder of Tuconic. Active in standardization, Lodderstedt is a member of the IETF OAuth Working Group and co-author of key standards and specifications, contributing to the OpenID Foundation as both Co-Chair and Editor for various identity assurance frameworks. Past roles include Managing Director at yes IDP GmbH and CTO/CPO at yes.com AG, where Lodderstedt oversaw product development for the open banking scheme. With extensive experience at Deutsche Telekom in identity management, Lodderstedt's academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Freiburg and a Diploma in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden.

The OpenID Foundation (OIDF) promotes, protects and nurtures the OpenID community and technologies. The OpenID Foundation is a non-profit international standardization organization of individuals and companies committed to enabling, promoting and protecting OpenID technologies that provide the internet identity layer and API Protection. Formed in June 2007, the Foundation serves as a public trust organization representing the open community of developers, vendors, and users. OIDF assists the community by providing needed infrastructure and help in promoting and supporting expanded adoption of OpenID. This entails managing intellectual property and brand marks as well as fostering viral growth and global participation in the proliferation of OpenID.
