Dmitry Stropalov

Dmitry Stropalov has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Dmitry is currently employed at OpenX as the Director of Software Engineering. Prior to this position, they worked as a Principal Architect at OpenX and as an Engineering Director at PepsiCo. Dmitry also has extensive experience at Sizmek and StrikeAd by Sizmek, where they held roles such as Software Engineering Manager and Development Team Lead. Dmitry has also worked at Exadel, Anadea Inc., Koksotrade Ltd, Incom, and Prostor holding company in various software development, engineering, and administration roles. Throughout their career, Dmitry has worked on high-load distributed systems, real-time bidding platforms, and data processing components in the advertising technology industry.

Dmitry Stropalov obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Programming from Donetsk National Technical University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn and Udemy, covering topics like microservices design patterns, virtual performance reviews, impromptu speaking, and various management and leadership skills. Dmitry also completed a course on functional programming principles in Scala through Coursera in 2013.
