Nikesh Nazareth has extensive work experience in various roles. Nikesh started their career as a Team Member at KFC in 2003 and then worked as a Customer Service Officer at Coles Express from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Daniels Sharpsmart as an IT Support Analyst for a brief period of six months. Nikesh also worked as a Tutor for two years before joining the Department of Defence in 2011. At the Department of Defence, they served as a Cryptographic Evaluator and was responsible for assessing the cryptographic strength of various products used by the Australian Government. Nikesh identified weaknesses in product security, demonstrated exploits, and proposed mitigations. This role lasted until 2017. Currently, Nikesh works at OpenZeppelin as a Security Researcher since May 2019.

Nikesh Nazareth attended Monash University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Physics.
