Opera Philadelphia
Megan McFadden is an accomplished mezzo contralto and music educator with extensive experience in various musical roles since 2009. Currently a chorister at Opera Philadelphia, Megan has also performed as an independent contractor and served as a cantor and soloist at The Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd. Previous positions include alto section leader at multiple churches, a music therapist at the Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy, and a K-8 general/vocal music teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. Megan holds a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance and Literature from The Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Music Therapy from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
