Sergio Thomas, CFA has an extensive work experience in the fund accounting and asset management industry. Sergio started their career in 2008 at Guardian Asset Management Limited, where they worked as an Investment Assistant and later as a Mutual Fund Officer. In 2012, they joined The Citco Group of Companies, holding roles as Fund Accountant, Senior Fund Accountant, and Supervisor. Since 2018, Sergio has been working at Opus Fund Services as an Account Manager, Assistant Vice President, and currently holds the position of Vice President, Fund Accounting.
Sergio Thomas, CFA obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Management with a specialization in Finance and a Minor in Economics from St. Francis College. Additionally, they have completed the CFP® Professional Education Program from FP Canada in October 2020. Sergio also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, although the specific details regarding its completion are not provided.
