Prior to this role, Chakku was a Senior Engineering Manager at Micron Technology, focusing on advanced memory solutions, and previously held engineering positions at Intel Corporation and Adesto Technologies, where contributions included significant advancements in memory component development and technology partnerships. Chakku's career began at Arizona State University as a Research Associate, where innovative work on solid-state electrochemistry and CBRAM technology was conducted. Chakku holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.

Oracle hardware products include Oracle Engineered Systems, servers, storage and industry-specific products, among others. Customers generally opt to purchase hardware support contracts when they purchase Oracle hardware products. Oracle also offers services to assist its customers and partners to maximize the performance of their Oracle purchases.
