Ramin Moazeni is a seasoned technology professional with over two decades of experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Oracle since August 2010, Ramin leads a global team in the design and development of Oracle DB Cloud and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer. Previous roles at Oracle include Senior Software Engineering Manager, where management of worldwide engineering teams and involvement in critical projects like Oracle Minicluster and SuperCluster were key responsibilities. Ramin also contributed as Principal Software Engineer during the inception and launch of SuperCluster. Earlier experience includes a senior software engineering role at Sun Microsystems, focusing on performance analysis and implementation of NetBeans source control plugins, as well as an internship at NASA Ames Research Center, where development for a parallelization toolkit was supported. Ramin holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and two master's degrees in Software Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Southern California.

Oracle cloud license and on-premise license deployment offerings include Oracle Applications, Oracle Database and Oracle Middleware software offerings, among others, which customers deploy using IT infrastructure from the Oracle Cloud or their own cloud-based or on-premise IT environments. Oracle hardware products include Oracle Engineered Systems, servers, storage and industry-specific products, among others. Customers generally opt to purchase hardware support contracts when they purchase Oracle hardware products. Oracle also offers services to assist its customers and partners to maximize the performance of their Oracle purchases.
