Simon Zagainov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, management, and analytics across various industries. Currently serving as a Mentor at Chinaccelerator since September 2020, Simon's previous roles include Managing Director and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at ExpoPromoter, where Simon focused on enhancing exhibitor satisfaction in the trade show market. Prior experience at Gazprom involved senior business analyst responsibilities, including the implementation of strategic performance management for a large workforce. Additional roles include International Operations Manager at OJSC “TOMPE “Ilmenite” and Senior Consultant for ABC Language Consultancy. Simon holds a Master of Management in Enterprise Economics from Tomsk Polytechnic University, a Ph.D. in International Economics from RANEPA, and a Specialization in Business Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania.
