Jamie Young

Jamie Young is a Data Scientist at Ordnance Survey since January 2020, with extensive experience in research and product development. As a Freelance Research & Development professional, Jamie Young has provided services to SMEs, startups, and charities since March 2013. Previously, Jamie Young served as a Horizon Scanning Specialist at the University of Southampton and co-founded Homely, which focused on promoting energy efficiency services to homeowners. Jamie Young's background includes roles as a Senior Researcher at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, a Freelance Design Engineer at More Associates, and a Development Engineer at DMS Technologies. Education includes an MSc. in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc. (Hons) in Product Design from Brunel University of London.
