Niklas Vest

Niklas Vest is an Embedded Software Engineer at OroraTech since August 2024, specializing in bare-metal satellite firmware. Previously, Vest served as Embedded Software Team Lead and Embedded Software Engineer at WARR from November 2021 to December 2023, gaining experience in embedded devices, RTOSes, and electronics. Earlier in the career, Vest worked as a Junior Software Developer and Software Engineer Intern at Smarter Ecommerce from April 2020 to April 2021, utilizing technologies such as GCP, Kubernetes, and Scala. In 2020, Vest contributed as a Full Stack Engineer at Pixeltrend GmbH & Co KG, developing scalable solutions with Google Firebase and MongoDB. Vest holds a Master of Science in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor's degree in Computer-Softwaretechnik from Hagenberg Campus - FH Upper Austria.
