John Shahidi has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Analyst at Canadian Bearings Ltd. from 2012 to 2013. John then worked as an Investment Banker at Osprey Capital in 2014 and later at Rabobank from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, John co-founded GRAB Coffee Company, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at BlueDot Inc as a Strategy & Growth Manager and later as Director of Strategy & Growth. John joined Centennial College in 2021, serving as a Guest Lecturer. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer at OtO Inc., where they started in 2021 and also held the position of Director of Strategy & Operations.
John Shahidi holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (MOS) degree in Finance from Western University. John has also obtained certifications in Pillars of Wall Street, Series 63, Series 79, and Financial Modeling from Training The Street.
