Daniel Ellul, CMP, currently serves as Senior Marketing Events Manager at Owkin since August 2022. Previously, Daniel held the position of Manager of Communications and Events at Commit from January 2022 to May 2022. At the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management from July 2016 to January 2022, Daniel coordinated an extensive portfolio of over 100 public events featuring industry leaders, managing all event logistics. Daniel's earlier experience includes roles at Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto, where responsibilities encompassed conceptualizing and executing signature events and coordinating career services programming from October 2008 to July 2016. Daniel began a career in event management at the University of Toronto as an Information Assistant from June 2006 to October 2008. Daniel's education includes certifications in Event & Meeting Management Fundamentals from the Event Leadership Institute, Digital Marketing from BrainStation, and e-Business from the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies.

Owkin was co-founded in 2016 by Thomas Clozel, MD, a clinical research doctor and former assistant professor in clinical hematology, and by Gilles Wainrib, Ph.D., an academic pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence in biology.
