Xuan Nguyen

Gender Justice & Inclusion Policy Research Intern at Oxfam America

Xuan Nguyen is a doctoral student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, actively engaged in gender justice and inclusion policy research as an intern with Oxfam America since June 2021. Xuan has served as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Women's Rights After War project at the University of Denver since July 2020 and has contributed as a medical interpreter for the Asian Pacific Development Center. Additionally, Xuan has experience as a Youth and Community Development Specialist with the Peace Corps, a community volunteer with Planned Parenthood of Illinois, and a researcher with Children's Research Triangle. Xuan has also held roles as a TRIO SSS Research Assistant at DePaul University, a Field Manager for Grassroots Campaigns, and as an executive board member of Global Brigades, Inc., where Xuan directed a Human Rights Brigade to Panama. Xuan holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from DePaul University.
